5 Transition Proof must haves in your closet

SHIRTDRESS

A shirt dress- The workhorse of dresses. You can wear a shirt dress almost any way you can think of: buttoned up, with a belt, with a sweater over top; unbuttoned with jeans and a t-shirt or even buttoned on top and open to show your bottoms.  Get a washable fabric and it will become a go-to in your closet.

A BELT

They aren’t just to fill in the space of the belt loop on your garments. They cinch in the waist of a boxy top or dress. They make a coat look chic. They help call attention to the smallest part of your waist. Colorful options, patterns and textures bring interest to an outfit.

A PATTERNED

SCARF

Scarves are like squares of magic. They can be a turban or headband on a bad hair day. They can change the look of your top (dress up, add color, camouflage a deep neckline). They can even be a belt. Hell, you might even have to tie up your hair at night in a pinch!

MID RISE STRAIGHT

LEG JEANS

Guess what y’all, there are a ton of denim options out there! We love our skinny jeans because they highlight our curves. But now is the time to diversify your denim. Mid rise because waist band keeps things in place without suffocating you. Straight leg because they are universally flattering, modern and they can be just as comfortable..

KNIT 2 PIECE SET

We love knit because it is often super comfy but it can look more dressed up than a sweat suit.  You can go for top of the line cashmere (hand wash!) or a cozy blend. Knits are also stretchy by nature so they are flexible if your weight fluctuates.
